The Mobility Project takes a comprehensive approach to restoring function and mobility to people whose brain, spinal cord or peripheral nervous system has been damaged by injury or disease. Their work spans the spectrum from the molecule to the community. While some projects are exploring how the nervous system develops, works, and changes in response to both damage and treatment, others are pioneering therapies to restore lost function. Still other projects are improving rehabilitation methods to optimize people’s recovery and quality of life.
